DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION

What we’re looking for:

• 7–9 years of hands-on experience in Java application and microservices development

• Strong proficiency with Spring Boot for building and maintaining scalable, modular services

• Hands-on experience with Spring Batch for data processing workflows

• Solid understanding of RESTful API design, implementation, and integration best practices

• Experience with Kafka for building event-driven systems

• Practical experience deploying and managing services in AWS environments

• Strong working knowledge of CI/CD tools (like Jenkins, GitLab, Docker) and automated deployment practices

• Skilled in debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for production systems

• Familiarity with logging and monitoring frameworks and tools for system observability

• Experience participating in Agile/Scrum teams, code reviews, and performance optimization efforts

• Strong focus on code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices

What you’ll be doing:

• Develop and maintain Java-based microservices and Spring Boot batch jobs to support scalable applications

• Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs ensuring performance, scalability, and security

• Implement Kafka consumers and producers for event-driven workflows

• Deploy and manage services in AWS, integrating with CI/CD pipelines for automated delivery

• Write clean, modular, and well-documented code aligned with industry standards

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently, ensuring system stability and minimal downtime

• Use debugging, logging, and monitoring tools to identify and resolve performance or reliability issues

• Participate in code reviews, contributing to continuous improvement in code quality and system performance

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and technical excellence
