DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION
What we’re looking for:
Experience in program or project management within technology, QA, or enterprise delivery environments
Strong experience managing day-to-day workflows across geographically distributed delivery teams (NA, AU, NZ, EU)
Proven expertise in defect management, triage coordination, and release planning
Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, sprint execution, and release velocity tracking
Skilled in using Jira (including JQL) for defect tracking, reporting, and workflow optimization
Demonstrated ability to lead prioritization and consensus-building with cross-functional stakeholders
Experience in planned vs. actual release tracking, burn-down reporting, and data-driven decision-making
Ability to identify and address bottlenecks, ensuring alignment with project milestones and delivery goals
Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis support for cross-system defects
Excellent reporting skills with the ability to convert raw data into clear visualizations and executive-ready summaries
What you’ll be doing:
Manage daily project workflows across global delivery teams, ensuring clear tracking of progress and blockers
Oversee daily defect reporting and burndown tracking, ensuring transparency across teams and management
Maintain and update Jira dashboards and JQL queries for accurate defect release planning and prioritization
Lead defect prioritization discussions with program stakeholders
Track planned vs. actual releases weekly, adjusting plans and team velocity based on delivery performance
Allocate and assign defects strategically to meet milestone and quality goals
Coordinate defect triage sessions to ensure timely resolution and accountability
Follow up on individual defects to maintain visibility and prevent slippage
Optimize Jira dashboards and workflows for efficient defect tracking and reporting
Support root cause analysis sessions for cross-system impacting defects and drive process improvements
