DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION

What we’re looking for:

• Strong technical expertise in software and data architecture, system integrations with at least 7 years of hands-on experience working with modern technologies.

• Proficiency in PostgreSQL/MongoDB, Node.js, REACT, REST APIs.

• 5+ years of proven expertise in creating data pipelines that aid business analytics and data science models.

• 3+ years of demonstrated experience in Python and SQL.

• Proficiency in PySpark, Scala-spark, Bash scripting languages.

• Proficient understanding and practical experience with Cloud-based Big Data technologies, including AWS EMR, Apache Spark, Databricks, AWS Redshift, S3 and orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.

• Experience with Log monitoring and error notification tools like Datadog and Grafana.

• Proven experience in cloud engineering including provisioning services in AWS, terraform and CloudFormation.

• Proficiency in AWS services for serverless architecture and deployment.

• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, agile methodologies and version control systems (Git)

• Proven ability to lead teams through technical challenges, complex problem-solving, and deliver high-quality products.

• Experience working with both functional and non-functional requirements, including security, performance, and scalability.

• Hands-on experience with technical design, development, conducting code reviews, and driving code quality.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

• Ability to mentor and guide team members in technical skills.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading product architecture, technical design, and strategy to ensure implementation of scalable and maintainable solutions that align with business goals.

• Collaborating cross-functionally with Product Owners, Domain Leaders, and other teams to manage dependencies and deliver features on time.

• Leading the development of solutions, resolving technical issues, and engaging in hands-on product technical design and implementation.

• Architecting and implementing serverless applications on AWS, leveraging services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3 and RDS.

• Mentoring and guiding the development team, ensuring code quality, best practices, and continuous improvement.

• Reviewing code repositories and version control systems to ensure adherence to coding best practices, security guidelines, and regulatory requirements

• Ensuring non-functional requirements such as security, performance, scalability, and system integrations are met through effective design and development.

• Staying current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure the team adopts innovative solutions.
